Artistic Process

Creating these unique pieces is a joyful labor of love. Inspired by dreams, visions and intuition, Renee channels each design to bring sacred images to Earth. Some images take up to nine months to fully manifest.

Painting the pieces is a highly labor-intensive, ecstatic process, uniting many elements and skills. Renee describes the process as ‘alchemic’, bringing together silk, crystals, the highest quality European dyes, hot wax and water together in magical alliance. Each dye color is mixed with great precision, then combined with water infused with rose quartz and selenite to raise the vibration of the completed work of art.

Renee paints with specially made, environmentally sustainable painting sticks instead of brushes to achieve minute detail. Only silk is used as it is crystalline in structure, conducting energy and holding vibrations. When the design is finalized and the colors are mixed, the painting begins. The finishing technique to fix the color is extremely complicated, leaving no room for error. Every piece takes up to 55 hours of highly skilled work and resonates on many dimensions.
